Tori Leiter
Tori Leiter, LLPC graduated from Siena Heights University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and worked as a foster care worker. Tori then pursued her Master’s Degree in counseling at Spring Arbor University and is a limited licensed counselor. She has specialized training in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy.
Tori has experience working in the child welfare system and has a passion for working with young children while understanding the importance of meeting them where they are at. Tori recognizes the importance for children to be able to feel safe, supported, and empowered in the therapy environment. Tori provides care where children can express themselves through play and conversation in a fun, relaxed, and empowering environment. While working with children, she takes a playful, activity-based, and skill-building approach to make sessions engaging.
Tori has worked with various populations throughout her journey in the human service field and enjoys working with children concentrating on Life/Family Transitions, Adoption/Foster Care, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Behavior Challenges, Social Struggles, School Problems, Parenting Skills, and Self-Esteem.

Tori provides child and family counseling to individuals from the Kalamazoo, Portage, Mattawan, and the South West Michigan area. Tori specializes in working with young children struggling with big feelings. She helps kids become the boss of their big feelings and stay in control of their bodies. She helps parents and their preschoolers find more connection and more shared joy.
